The green land of adventure
More about NZ. So when i was booking my ticket and after that everybody was assuring me that it's gonna be winter in NZ in August. That's why I scheduled only 2 weeks as I don't like when it's freezing cold. Apparently NZ, at least the North Island, is the greenest country I ever seen. It is beautiful. The ocean, lakes and rivers all have a deep turquoise colour. Exactly like in the travel magazines. You feel that the population of this country is not the biggest one, which I enjoy. It's very clean, well organized, feels very safe and just relaxed. Lots of free space and air. I'm not sure what about living for a long time with all this free space around but and one thing I'm sure the place I gonna live will have lots of space. (desert?)
Although I think that maybe NZ has not more beauty itself but it's just not destroyed and transformed by a human as the other countries are. It's natural as it's been created and this is what we found so amazing.
I saw dolphins in the ocean. In Whitianga there is a beach where with a low tide you can find hot water springs, dig a whole which fill with a hot natural spring water and simply stay in your own spa for ca. 2 hours, which we did (7am so sunrise as an extra to it!.
Auckland is a very pretty city. Harbour that is full of bars and safe to be there which is not usual for an harbour area.
Within one week I met 2 Polish guys here! One tourist guide and the other skydiving instructor.
I found out about the earthquake in Peru, Pisco (which I visited some 2 months ago. Here are the pics:

I work with some NZ girls and the pictures they have of their home - well, it is soooo beautiful. But yes, they find the lack of things to do sometimes boring - hence why NZs tend to travel alot.
Anyway, nice to hear you are still alive, missthing.
